Talmid Academy offers a comprehensive online program for Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation. Our curriculum is designed to guide young learners (and adults who missed the opportunity) through the spiritual, educational, and practical steps needed for this significant milestone. Students will explore Torah readings, Hebrew language skills, and the responsibilities of living a Torah-pursuant life.

Lyell College

Certificate, Diploma, and/or Bachelor of Torah Pursuant Studies

Building Foundations for Faith and Leadership

Founded in Arkansas in 2003, Lyell College offers structured programs for those seeking academic and spiritual growth. Our Certificates, Diplomas, and Bachelor’s Degree in Torah Pursuant Studies provide a well-rounded education rooted in scripture, tradition, and practical application. Lyell College equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to lead and serve within the Torah-pursuant community.
 

• Programs Offered:

  • Certificate in Torah Pursuant Studies (1 year of guided studies)

  • Diploma in Torah Pursuant Studies (2 year program)

  • Bachelor of Torah Pursuant Studies (3 - 4 years of guided studies)

• Format: Hybrid learning with online and in-person options

• Who It's For: Students looking to deepen their faith and academic credentials

• Scope: Global student body. All courses taught in English or Hebrew.

• Accreditation: Affiliate of various organizations. Not yet accredited in the USA. Note: Prior to the sudden closure of the college due to Hurricane Katrina (2005), Lyell College held Applicant Status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education, the appropriate accrediting association in the United States. When possible, the college intends to seek accreditation again.
